When local quilter Sue Good heard that our silver tea set had been stolen she contacted us to offer hers as a replacement. She had inherited it from her aunt, Grace Speckmann, a lifelong educator who spent her final years at Sierra Sunrise. Sue had the tray handle repaired by Jack Massie at Paradise Jewelers, who refused to take payment when he learned she was donating it. We are eternally grateful for Sue and her aunt for replacing what we lost. Sue is a member of Annie Star Quilt Guild. They donated us a quilt several years ago when we made our first quilt, so we'd have one to raffle off while they fixed what was wrong with ours. The generosity of Sue Good, Jack Massie,  and members of Annie Star remind us of this season of generosity.
