The Chico Women's Club Quilt Raffle benefits our scholarship fund.

Raffle tickets will be available at all our upcoming events, and at all our Thursday Happy Hours until May 1st. The quilt will also be on display at all the events.

Raffle tickets are $2, 3 for $5, 7 for $10 and 15 for $20.

Our monthly gathering, the Chico Women's Club Happy Hour happens from 5-7 PM every third Thursday of the month at the Clubhouse. We will serve wine and goodies and have time to chat, catch up and announce events.

Timebanks is a way of building community 'one hour at a time.' CWC members who participate in Timebanks share and receive services without an exchange of money. When you spend an hour to do something for an individual, you earn a Time Dollar. Then you can use that Time Dollar to buy an hour of service from anyone in the group. It brings out the best in people, because Time banking is a system that connects unmet needs with untapped resources. Contact info@chicowomensclub.org for more information.

The Chico Women’s Club is proud to be a member of The Women's Microfinance Collaborative. Established in 2006 by several local women's organizations, WMC seeks to honor the entrepreneurial spirit of the poor, especially women in developing countries, by funding microfinance loans, which have been shown to be a powerful way to eradicate poverty. Donations are made through WMC, the activities of which are directed by a research committee.

Public Programs are held at various times. Recent offerings have included gospel singing, Muslim women's celebration of Eid, multi-cultural storytelling, a Women’s History Month presentation, presentations on women in fair trade, developmental needs of children, immigrant awareness and appreciation and several evenings featuring DVDs from the Bioneers Conference. Programs are designed to fulfill the Club's mission of supporting the arts and providing education on solutions to social and environmental challenges.
